Once historical places, monuments, signs, statues, etc are destroyed, we can never replace them. As a society, I like to think we are more aware and sensitive to issues that we weren&#8217;t in the past but that doesn&#8217;t give us the right to destroy it if <a href=\"https:\/\/www.mistressjessica.net\/blog\/2017\/08\/12\/really-2\/\">we don&#8217;t agree with<\/a> what it symbolizes.\u00a0 Move it, YES, replace it with something else, sure, but destroy it, no. If anything, they are symbols of what things were once like, how far we&#8217;ve come and how much farther we have to go.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>History or Hate?
