I’m sitting here eating lunch and reading Dlisted, which is My normal daily routine. And I’m going through the comments on a post about Joanna Lumley’s thoughts on catcalling. Basically she thinks it’s complimentary and women are too sensitive if they get offended. Wow. No, just NO. ?

I’m kinda shocked that, as a female herself, she doesn’t get it.

But there are so many good comments on that thread that make up for it. I’m saying yes, Yes, YES!!  (Fuckin’ love Dlisters)

READ IT and learn from it. Learn what females have put up with for ages and what we HATE and how that behavior is NOT flattering.

There is a most definite shift going on. A big part of that is due to social media and how easy it is to call people out on bad behavior and draw attention to it. I remember seeing video a while ago of a woman who was being followed and video taped by some creep. She decided to turn the tables and record and follow him and ask him why he was following her and it was interesting to see his reaction. (Spoiler: he didn’t like it)

Still a long way to go though…..
